Daniel Uusitalo

Daniel Uusitalo is a European venture capitalist and environmental activist. He writes about start-ups, artificial intelligence, resilience and climate tech across different platforms. Daniel was born in Finland but grew up in New York City, Vienna, and London. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Aalto University and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Brunel University London. He has a strong track record in thought leadership and actively engages with communities such as the Global Shapers Community, an initiative by the World Economic Forum, and the Climate Reality Corps. Daniel has held various affiliations, including serving as a Global Shaper, Climate Reality Leader, and Davos50 delegate at the World Economic Forum Annual Summit 2025.
